When a coach has to devise a special system to determine how to cut his squad to 15 players foim 18 or 20 top performers, per-formers, that is a good sign that the caliber of players is among the best. This is the position po-sition that Coach Hal Jensen found himself in. when the basketball bas-ketball practices opened at the high school this week. Coach Jensen has now trimmed trim-med his squad to 18 players in a swift move to whip them into a workable combination for their opening pre-season game December 2, at South High School. Bright prospects With prospects at the school considerably brighter than normal nor-mal basketball wise Coach Jensen came up with a special "T Score" system using statistical sta-tistical data, player rating and coaches rating to determine more fairly a player's ability and which ones should remain on the squad.
