Brinton, son of Mr. ; and Mrs. Frank Brinton of :'- Redwood City, Calif., former residents of Springville. v The prospective groom, a V fifth year engineering student at BTO", has been making his home in Springville while attending at-tending school. The marriage date has been set for November 23, to take s. place in the Salt Lake Temple. X reception will honor the - yowg couple on November 27, at Elgin, Oregon. They will ... mke their home in Springville. The bride-elect is -a former - student at BYU. Mr. Brinton is a grandson 0f Mr. and Mrs. Frank San-J San-J ford of this city. Music program enjoyed by club A delightful program of mu-, mu-, sic entertained members of the I Springville Federated Music i Club, when they held their Noll No-ll vember meeting at the home j of Mrs. Betty Sumsion. Mrs I Eileen Bird, club president, was ' in charge. Mrs. Jennie Sanford presented present-ed the program on the life and works of Victor Herbert. Assisting As-sisting her with special music by the famous composer, was her daughter, Mrs. Eliza Giles, VJ who entertained with vocal! solos as did Evelyn Boyer and Jean Biesinger. Mrs. Sumsion was their accompanist. Annie Forshee gave a piano solo and instrumental selctions were IL furnished by a trio composed lUl of Eileen Bird, Carol Manwar- ing and Mary Bird. The meeting closed with re- freshments served by the hostess. host-ess. Miss Karen Koylance has spent the past two weeks in Springville with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. George Roylance ., coming from Washington D. C. II especially for the Xvedding of her friend, Kathleen Russell and Allan Morrehead. All are employed in Washiington D.C. )fi Karen plans to return Sunday : III by plane. |
