Show Home Culture has closing program Home Culture Club members and guests were treated to an outstanding closing club event for the season at the home of Mrs. Earl Cook, with her two daughters assisting Mrs. Cook as hostesses. Presided over by Mrs. Gwen Baxter, the club collect was read by Mrs. Jack Perham. Roll call was then taken with each member responding with some outstanding event from past club years. Mrs. Clyde Banner, guest soloist for the program, sang a medley of songs from the gay nineties. Mrs. Maurice Bird accompanied her. ' Mrs. Harold Christensen gave an interesting talk, "Remembrance "Re-membrance Day" in which she related some of the club history. his-tory. The members sang the new federated club song, "Strengthen the Arm of Liberty," Lib-erty," after which Mrs. Banner Ban-ner ' sang the original song composed by Mrs. Camille Judd, "What Will I Do Without With-out You?" Mrs. Ronald Thorpe, secretary, read the financial fin-ancial report. At the conclusion of the program, Mrs. Baxter turned over the gavel to the new club president, Mrs. Max Alleman. Mrs. Alleman, on behalf of the club, presented Mrs. Baxter with an appropriate gift of appreciation ap-preciation for her work during the past year. Mrs. Banner sang "Sounds of Music" and the club stood adjourned for the summer months. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served to the club members and guests including Mrs. Bessie West of California.
