Show Fuelwood areas reopened CEDAR CITY Abundant fuelwood is now available in several recently reopened areas in the Cedar City Ranger District, according ac-cording to Ranger Rollo Brunson. The areas Wilson Creek, Webster Flat, Henrie Knolls and Lowder Creek are recently completed timber sales, and the residual material is available for fuelwood. Permits, maps and additional information are available at the Ranger's Office, 82 N 100 East in Cedar City, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to5p.m., and at the Duck Creek field station Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon. Permits are free for personal use; and the material cannot be sold, given away or exchanged. ex-changed. Ranger Brunson urged forest users to be careful with fire smoking, and to not travel on fragile meadow areas. |
