Show Duallecture on children's teeth to be presented by couple at SU CEDAR CITY -A dual lecture about teeth and children's books about teeth will be presented by a Cedar City dentist and his wife July 8 at Southern Utah State College. Paul R. and Naomi Lunt will speak at 12 noon in the Thorley Recital Hall, guest lecturers in the SUSC Distinguished Lecture Series. Dr. Lunt, a practicing dentist in Cedar City for the past 25 years, will give an illustrated lecture about the latest, techniques and advances in dentistry, particularly in tooth transplants. Mrs. Lunt will talk about the two children's books she has written, one of which was selected last year by the Convention of Libraries in Japan to be placed in., every elementary, and high school library; in that country. : ', , The lecture 'is free to the public and is being sponsored by the SUSC Division ofContinuing Antonio, being honored by the senior dental students there as grand marshall of their graduating class. Mrs. Lunt wrote her first children's book, "A Dentist of My Own," in 1971. It was published by the Utah State Dental Health Association. Last year it was published in Japanese and it is soon to be published in Spanish. "The Molar Derby," her latest book, is being published by Charles Stern Association, San Antonio. The SUSC guest lecturer lec-turer taught home economics in Vernal and at Utah State University for several years. Among the civic and professional positions she has held are those as president of the State Dental Auxiliary and as regional vice-president vice-president of the National Dental Auxiliary. Education. Dr. Lunt, an alumnus of SUSC, received a degree in pharmacy from Utah State University and owned and operated drugstores in Roosevelt and Vernal for several years. He enrolled in the dentistry program at the University of Missouri, . Kansas City, in the early 1950s where he was, an-med an-med outstanding student his senior year, then moved to Cedar City to start a practice. The Cedar City dentist served on the Utah State Dental Board for eight years, as president of the association in 1978, and was chief of staff at the Valley View Medical Center for one year.
