Show Julie Reeves called to serve mission m ii nni i m i I A i $ ' I $ 1 V I Julie Reeves, daughter of Devon and Faith Reeves of Cedar City, has received a mission call from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She will serve in the Massachussetts, Boston Mission. She will enter the Mission home at Provo on July 10. Julie will speak at Sacrament Meeting in the Fourteenth Ward, 190 North 300 West, Sunday, June 29 at 9:50 a.m. Friends and relatives are invited to attend. at-tend. Miss Reeves is a graduate of Cedar City High School where she was a member of the Honor Society. She is a junior at Southern Utah .State Colege majoring in history. She has been active in the LDS Church all of her life having been Laurel President, Sunday School teacher and for the 1979-80 year President of Lambda Delta Sigma, an LDS Sorority at SUSC. She has graduated from the LDS Seminary and Institute In-stitute programs of the Church. On May 18, 1980 Julie received the pretigious Mildred I. Sargent Womanhood Award for the JULIE REEVES outstanding graduate. She has been employed in Cedar City for the past 5Vi years at Fashion Village and What's New. Fewer than 156 U. S. veterans of the Spanish-American Spanish-American War are still alive, according to Veterans Administration statistics. Some 392,000 American servicemen took part in that conflict. |
