Show EINSTEIN CENTENNIAL EX, AT SUSC The Albert Einstein 1879-1979 1879-1979 Centennial Exhibit Is currently on display In the SUSC Science Building. The 18 panet exhibit depicts the life, work and Impact of the great scientist scien-tist from his birth in Ulm, Germany, to his death in Princeton, NJ In 1955. The exhibit is free, and everyone is invited to visit and learn about one of the world's greatest scientists and humanitarians. Einstein came to the UJS. In 1933 because of the political politi-cal unrest in Nazi Germany. His public life was marked by a deep concern for the freedom and dignity of man. In 1952 he was offered the presidency of Israel, but refused. re-fused. Einstein's name is closely associated with the atom ic age, yet he was a sim -pie man who enjoyed playing the violin and piano, and was very fond of sailing. He won his first Nobel prize In Physics, Phy-sics, the second with the ,Brownlan movement and the third with the special theory of relativity. |
