Show i BRYCE CANYON VISITS DOWN The number of visitors to Bryce Canyon National Park during 1979 was down 17.8 compared with 1978 according ac-cording to park superintendent superinten-dent Thomas O. Hobbs. A total of 559,077 visitors entered en-tered the park during the year. Bryce Canyon will be open all winter. Roads to the main canyon overlooks are in good condition. Trail conditions are changeable and visitors should check at the park visi -tor center, open daily from 8 a.m. tq 5 p.m., for up to date trail information. Snowshoes are available at the visitor center. Cross country ski conditions are marginal at this time. |
