Show ' Adams ville .Greenville Bessie Edwards Hal Chesley and two children chil-dren have been down from Salt Lake City to work on their home here, to get ready to spend some weekends and vacation time here. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Farnsworth are happy to have another little grandson in the family. A baby boy was born to Mr. and Mrs. John Farnsworth, of Cottage Station, Sta-tion, Texas. Larry and Linda Elmer, of Layton, visited Nettie Fordham and Bessie Edwards. Ed-wards. Linda is the daughter daugh-ter of Howard Fordham, former for-mer Greenville resident, and son of Nettie. Visitors at the home of Orrice and Vera Murdock have been their daughter, Elaine and her daughter, of Phoenix, Arizona. They were on their way to Salt Lake City, where Elaine's daughter was auditioning for the Ballet West Dance Company. Com-pany. Also visitingtheMur-dock's visitingtheMur-dock's were their son, Allan, Al-lan, his wife and three children, chil-dren, of Vancouver, Washington. Wash-ington. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Murdock, Mur-dock, their daughter, Sher-rie, Sher-rie, and three daughters of Salt Lake, came Saturday to visit. Sherry and family returned to Salt Lake onSun- day, and Ila and Clyde are staying for two weeks to get their lot ready to move their mobile home here. TheMur-docks TheMur-docks moved to Salt Lake ten years ago because of Clydes railroad job. He is now retired re-tired and they are moving home. We are glad to have them coming home. Mr. and Mrs.OrriceMur-dock Mrs.OrriceMur-dock spent Thursday working in the St. George temple. Visitors at theCullenWil-liams theCullenWil-liams home over the weekend were Kevin and Lauri Lee, and Carlyn Williams, of Cedar Ce-dar City. Frank and Phyllis Myers, are home from Phoenix, Arizona. Ari-zona. They have spent most of the winter there. The infant daughter of Vicki and Stephen Kesler, was given a blessing by her father in Sacrament Meeting Sunday. She was named Thresa Afton. The Greenville Ward participated par-ticipated in a special fast and prayer Sunday for Faye Fordham, who is still very ill in the IDS Hospital. Jim and Rita Fordham stayed a night here on their way back to Salt Lake City after going to Ely, Nevada to get their children. They have been in Salt Lake with Jim's mother. Mary Ann Williams, Clifford Clif-ford Williams and Craig Blackner returned home this week after the trip they took to the Eastern States. They all enjoyed the trip but are happy to live in Utah. Arthur Blackner was released re-leased from the Beaver Valley Val-ley hospital last week and went to Milford to stay with his daughter, Maurine. On Sunday, he had to be taken back to the hospital. We all wish him a speedy recovery. Sunday visitors at the Ricke and Kay Edwards home were Mr. and Mrs. Harold Smith and Mrs. Helen Richards, Rich-ards, of Summitt. Those attending the wedding wed-ding of JoAnn Wright and Kenneth Baker at the St. George Temple, from the Greenville Ward were Rita and Sheldon Jessup, Bulah and Dennis Farnsworth, Bessie Edwards and Laurie Williams. James and Lilly Williams were in Cedar City on Thursday, Thurs-day, where James had an appointment ap-pointment with a bone specialist. Kuman Meservy was released re-leased from the Beaver Valley Val-ley hospital on Saturday, after af-ter spending several days there. Afton and Ray Kesler were in Salt Lake two days this past week on business. King and Donna Morris left Sunday for Louisville, Kentucky, to visit and attend at-tend the graduation of their son, Larry, who will graduate gradu-ate from Dental School this week. The Morris' drove to Las Vegas and took a plane from there. After graduation, Larry's wife, Mary Lynn, and two children, chil-dren, and Donna will fly home. King will help Larry drive the car back. |
