By Mel Osborn After six consecutive state wrestling championships, the Monticeilo Buckaroos were finally derailed by the North Summit Braves in the 1-A state finals at Beaver on Saturday night. "We've waited a longtime for this," said Brave Coach, Sam Blomquist. "This is the first time we have been together as a complete team since December 23 operations oper-ations and illness have plagued us all season." One fan hugged Blonquist, saying, "We love you, Coach!" That statement seemed to represent the emotions of all of the screaming fans from the 17 schools in the tournament. While North Summit was gloating over the championship, the Wayne fans had a chance to cheer over their 126 lb. ace, Terry Talbert, who was voted the outstanding 1-A wrestler. Talbert captured his 3rd consecutive state win, decisioning Kevin Orgill, of North Summit, 13-5. It was the 105th win in the four year career for Talbert. Mark Brown picked up 4th place in the 185 lb. class, and Todd Lister, Lis-ter, of Milford received 4th place honors in the 119 lb. class.
