Show Ssffc BEAVER BUZZIN'S Carol IlutdiiiiKS 438-0510 I know it's been several weeks since you have heard j from me and there are I several reasons why. I'm sure most of you know our ; lives have been saddened ! the last several months by the illness and now the recent loss of our dear mother, Evelyn (Winnie) Hutchings. She was a lovely person and we will all miss her. The funeral services were beautiful and on behalf of the family, I would like to thank everyone in this wonderful won-derful county for the thought -fulness and deeds of kindness shown to us. It was quite an impressive sight to me to see nine grown grandsons act as pallbearers, eight of whom ' bear the Hutchings name. There were many out-of-town relatives in attendance at the funeral services. Among them were Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Hutchings, and Raymond Hall, from Salt Lake; A. E. Hall, from Ogden; Mr. and Mrs. Brent Hutchings, Hutch-ings, from Farmington; Mr. and Mrs. Craig Hutchings, from Vernal; Mrs. Gary Best, and children, from ; Pleasant Grove; Mr. and Mrs. Kerry Hutchings, Brice, Gwen, and Joan Hutchings, Glen Marshall, and Mr. and Mrs. Steven Lund, all from Provo; Mr. and Mrs. Raymond (Toni) Black, from Orem; as well as Bud Black and Sam Oak-den, Oak-den, from Salt Lake. Those traveling from California to be at the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert (Loa) Hutchings, Sr., Gilbert Hutchings, Jr., Mr. andMrs. Leon Gillies and Mr. and Mrs. Kelly. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hicks and Rene Gillies Gil-lies drove from Las Vegas, and Mrs. Clarence (Jean) Kirkham, Kathy Kirkham and Mr. and Mrs. Walt Messin-ger Messin-ger came from Cedar City to attend the services. Of course, all the immediate family members attended the funeral as well as many wonderful won-derful friends and relatives throughout the county. Bishop and Mrs. Terry Henrie were happy to have several of their family members join with them recently re-cently to honor their son, Gary, prior to his leaving to serve in the Florida-Tallahassee Mission. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Freeze, Mr. and Mrs. John W. Wilcox, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Henrie, and Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Konald and their families were among those present. Also joining the group were the grandparents, William and Mary Worthen, and James and Maxine Henrie. We enjoyed having our daughters Joan and Barbara, Bar-bara, and Barbara's husband, hus-band, Steve, and little granddaughter, grand-daughter, Charity, spend a few days with us last week. Some special youngpeople and advisors of the Beaver Third Ward have received recognition awards in recent re-cent Sacrament Meetings. Those receiving the "Duty to God" award were Mike Fuller, Bruce Carter, Clay Beaumont, Alberta Limb, and of course, our own family. We have had a Lamanite student come to live with us since you last heard from me. She transferred from Hurricane High, and Is from Sawmill, Arizona. Her name is Lena L. Lee, and we are happy to have her in our home. Robinson, Duane Henrie, and Gordon Hutchings. Mark Fuller received the "On My Honor" award. Special "Womanhood" awards were presented to Laurie Williams, Jamie (Hodges) Shotwell, Naomi White, Debra Carter and Barbara Robinson. Lynn Carter and his fiancee fi-ancee spent the weekend in Beaver last week visiting his family, the Rex Carters. Karl White and Jay Sis-trunk Sis-trunk came from Provo to spend some time withKari's family, Leo, Naomi and Tracy White. Ann Messinger, from Logan, Lo-gan, visited with her parents, Arlo and Ila Messinger, and brother, Mark, over the long weekend. Some of the other college students who were home for the weekend were Laurie Williams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Williams, and Cindy Webster, daughter of Bishop and Mrs. Rick Webster. Web-ster. The Floyd Bartlett family has moved to Ogden this week and also the Tom Jackson Jack-son family is movingto Manilla. Man-illa. We will miss these fine families in our com - munity. We enjoyed gathering as i many of ourfamily members j as we could last Saturday to I help Sam and Alan celebrate I their birthdays Sam's is j January 29th and Alan's on February 17th.
