Show lurjlios cliongss ownership Hughes Style and Floral ' Shoppe has been purchased by Vernon Hughes, son of the former owner, Mrs. Naomi Hughes, who has operated the ladieswear and floral shoppe in Milford for the past 40 years. Mr. Hughes daughter, Beverly Wells, will manage the store. Mrs. Wells is a former employee of Wards in Po-catello Po-catello for 3-12 years and 1-12 years for the Idaho First National BanklnPoca-tello. BanklnPoca-tello. Mr. and Mrs. Wells have moved from Pocatello to Milford. The store will con -continue to service the community com-munity with fine lines of ladies la-dies and childrens wear and cut and potted flowers. Mrs. Hughes started the business in 1938. Her husband, hus-band, J. M. Hughes, was a teacher at Milford High School and was in charge of the original construction of the Milford LDS Church, organizing or-ganizing crews to tear down the old Murdock Academy in Beaver, moving them to Milford, Mil-ford, reshaping the red rock blocks and construction of the church. Mrs. Hughes has five children chil-dren and plans to do a lot of visiting with them and the grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren.
