Show Diners gear for battle The Beaver County Land Users, formerly the Beaver County Mining Council, will hold a meeting Monday, May 2nd, in the Minersville Elementary Ele-mentary School at 7:30 p.m. The purpose of the meeting meet-ing is to make a last effort to get petitions signed in opposition op-position to the surface mining min-ing regulations, as proposed by BLM in conjunction with the Organic Act of 1976. Deadline for input is fast approaching, and everyone who can is urged to attend. The group madeaphysical showing and an oral presentation presen-tation in Salt Lake City two weeks ago. They have avowed not to give up the fight to protect the freedom not only of prospectors, but all land users. |
