Show icnoj The Tigerettes sponsored a swimming party for the Tiger football team on the first night of the school year. After the party the group enjoyed a watermelon bust. Advisor for the Tigerettes is Mrs. Margaret Miller. A pep rally was held by the cheerleaders on Thursday Thurs-day night to get the team and students ready for the Kanab game. Student Council sponsored an "Oddball" dance after the football game Friday. Students who dressed in an unusual way got in for a reduced rate. All such dances danc-es this year will be closed dances with after-game dances ending at 12 ajn. and other dances ending at 11:30 pjn. The Student Council this year plans to be a very busy and efficient one. This year's members are: Mitchell Mi-tchell Bealer, president; M ark Ne Ison, vice -pres ident ; Marianne Wisner, secretary; secre-tary; Randy Mayer, senior president; Shelley Fisher, Fish-er, junior president; Julie Coates, sophomore president; pres-ident; Gina Dalton, 9th grade president; Wayne Lowe, 8th grade president; Matt Pearson, Pear-son, 7th grade president; Chellie Rose, Tigerette president; Wayne Lounsbury, Letterman's Club; Karen Whittaker, head cheerleader; Kim Brox,F.H.A.;andMarty McCulley, yearbook. Class meetings were held yesterday to discuss and calendar cal-endar class -sponsored activities ac-tivities for the coming year. Practice for girls desiring desir-ing to participate in the girls athletics volleyball program will begin after school September Sep-tember 7th in the old gym. |
