Show ANNUAL GOLF MEETING SET FOR THURS., FEB. 20th The annual meeting of the Milford Golf Ass'n. will be held Thursday, Feb. 20, at the St. Bridget's Catholic Recreation Hall, 7:30 p.m., according to President J. H. Davis. ' ' " '" The annual meeting will include election of officers and four board members. Present officers, besides Davis, are Alva J. Kirk, Vice President, and Ron Wunder-lich, Wunder-lich, Secretary -Treasurer. Board members are the officers, of-ficers, plus Elwood Jefferson, Jeffer-son, Bruce Mayer, Russel Mayer, 'Red' Wilson, Dick Mayer, Wayne Wiseman, Norman Lamb, and Russel Lee Mayer. Five holes are completed and will be ready for play late this Spring. Work is progressing pro-gressing on the club house, driving range and the last four holes. Approximately $40,000 has been expended for the sprinkling system, pumps, equipment and property. prop-erty. Thousands of dollars in labor and equipment have been utilized in the project pro-ject so far. Memberships are $100 per year, with full voting rights, at the annual board meeting. A lot, bordering the goli course, will be given to one lucky member at the annual meeting In 1976. To be eligible eli-gible you need only purchase a membership. Those with full memberships for the three years, 1973-74-75, will be eligible for the drawing draw-ing on the lot. It is possible tc purchase retroactive membership mem-bership and be eligible for full shares. Full memberships member-ships earn bonus shares. Those purchasing associate memberships are not eli-given eli-given away, but will be eligible eli-gible for other prizes. Your dues are needed tc keep the project moving al good pace. It is hoped thai the sprinkling system on the driving range and last foui holes can be completed this year. The club also plans tc complete the clubhouse. This is a worthy project for the community and deserves your support. |
