Nettie Myers, Lois Pier-son, Pier-son, Lilia Carter and Bertha Cusick left Sunday for Salt Lake, where on Monday morning they will meet at the airport with a group under und-er the direction of BYU to go on a tour of the Holy Land. They will stop In England to visit the London LDS Temple; Tem-ple; from there to the Holy Land. On their return they will stop In Switzerland to visit the temple there. The group will be gone for two weeks. Sunday morning Karl and Phyllis Truman drove to Granger to attend Fast and Testamony meeting in the Granger Ward and to witness wit-ness the blessing andnaming of their little granddaughter, a daughter of Jerry and Kathy Larson. Lee and Sally Smith of Las Vegas visited their mother, Gladys Myers, and their sons, who are staying with their grandmother for the summer, over the Fourth holiday. Darwin and Vivian Marshall Marsh-all and Nancy George left Friday for Merced, Calif, where they will attend the wedding of their granddaughter, granddaugh-ter, Julie Gay Marshall and Gary Roberts on July 6th. Mrs. Dorothy (Myers) Johnson and children of North Carolina arrived last Wednesday to visit with her mother, Nettie Myers. She will be here until after the Golden WeddingAnniversary in Beaver of Mr. and Mrs. , Sam Johnson.
