Show Billie and Glenn Osborn went thru the mountains to Pioche last Sunday to visit. But Blllie, falling up the church steps. Thats hard on knees and nylons. Glad you heal quick. Mrs. Swallow, Darlene Whitlock's mother, has been feeling under the weather, so she was unable to go with Darlene to Bountiful on Tuesday Tues-day to attend the funeral of a cousin. Lee Whitlock took real good care of his mother-in-law until his wife returned. Molly and Wayne Gonder are home from Salt Lake City and Molly is feeling real good. She had lots and lots of tests, but didn't get any reprints of her x-rays, as they really didn't look like her. - The coyote hunters are getting get-ting lazy. They now do it by helicopter. What a way to go. They landed at our airport and stayed for a couple of , days. The sheepmen thank them very much. Tracy Davie s, Kevin and Kathleen Gonder were home for the weekend to rest up from their studies at Delta High. There's that white stuff again. Bud Richardson is out plowing county roads and there goes Austin Williams and Cecil Rowley plowingour state roads. All three were out late at night to get it off the roads. Sunday morning with just beautiful fog on the trees, Cecil Ce-cil Rowley took his wife, La Rue out for a spin to visit son Walter and family in Ne-phi, Ne-phi, Utah for the day. Helen and Del Young and Fred and I had a nice steak dinner at Big Springs with Glenn and Billie Osborne Sunday night. After dishes were done, by us gals, Glenn showed movie films and slides of their September vacation up north. On the movie film, "there was some real fast moving action by that grass skirt on Bill Kirk. Watch that swing, Bill. (The one you wore In the Centennial parade.) Mr. Glen Gilson is visiting his daughter, Pat Davies for a few days. It's different from Provo. Not as many cars. Sunday, Chester Wheeler, Branch President, CarlDear-den, CarlDear-den, first Counselor and Ted Brush, second Counselor, were released from their church jobs. Sustained were Richard Swallow, Branch President, rancher from Spring Valley; Ted Brush, first Counselor and Clark Talbot, Tal-bot, second counselor. Mr. Talbot is with the Nevada Fish and Game Department at the fish hatchery. The sun is shining, the children are in school and the men are all at work. Things are quiet around here, except ex-cept on the soap-operas. So-smile So-smile and everyone wants to know what you've been up to. |
