Show : " I l ' r I i i . i i ; f-- JO ANNE PRICE TO REIGN, CLASS OF '62 HONORED Panguitch and the Class of 1962 will be the guests of Mil-ford Mil-ford High School this Friday, S-ptember 17 at the MHS 1971 Homecoming Festivities. Picked by the Lettermen to reign as Queen over the festivities fes-tivities was Miss Jo Anne Price, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Price of Milford. Jo Anne is a varsity cheerleader cheer-leader and is active in school activities, including holding state and national offices in the Future Homemakers of America. Queen Jo Anne's attendants this year are Miss Betty Jo Stewart, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Stewart and Miss Colleen Mayer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Mayer. The festivities start off at 11:00 a.m. with an Assembly Program in the High School Auditorium. A humorous program, pro-gram, it will have its serious moments, and be of interest to all, whether alumni, student, or parent. At 1:00 p.m. the Homecoming Parade wiH leave the High School, traveling down Center Street to Main and down Main Street and back. Floats will be by classes and organizations of the High School and will be sponsored by local businesses business-es and individuals. The class and quality of last year's parade exceeded what you would expect from much larger schools and this year's parade promises to be as good Queen Jo Anne Price or better. Then comes what everybody is waiting for, the big game with Panguitch on the Tiger Field at 8:00 p.m. Paguitch was beaten last week at Beaver, 32-0 but rolled over Parowan the week before. The Tigers of course have three wins and no losses so far this year, and are favored to win. To wind up the days festivities, fes-tivities, a dance for alumni and guests will be sponsored by the MHS Lettermen, will be at the Elementary School multi-purpose room, starting at 10:00, right after the game. The band playing will be the Sweet Cracker Justice. |
