Show CULPRITS STRIKE THREE PLACES IN TWO DAYS Vandalism broke out in several sev-eral places in Milford and surrounding sur-rounding area over the weekend week-end and Monday. But at least part of it may backfire on the culprits who committed the dastardly deeds. The most expensive and the most property damage was caused when vandals shot out all the windows in a loader belonging be-longing to Wiseman Ready-Mix when it was left on Baldy Hill Sunday. Creating little property damage, dam-age, but the one most likely to backfire, was the Beaver1 Football Fans who used up a couple of cans of spray paint, writing on the MHS sidewalks. We assume Beaver Fans because be-cause of the wording which is "Beaver will always be the best in football." "Milford Can Only Be Lucky Once." "Go, Fight. Win, Beaver All The Way to State." Quite obviously, these auotes were not written by Milford fans, though what sxe . tv coach will now have to get his Tirers up for the coming football foot-ball game. Make 'em eat their words. Then Monday night, some prankster, possibly the same culprits, shut off the water sprinklers in the cemetery and removed 24 of them and threw them into the Swimming Pool. Fortunately the pool had been draining for two days, and Mr. Nelson did not have to wade after them. However, the Rainbird sprinklers do cost $26 apiece, and if sufficiently damaged, could amount to a iV?r pnm "Proline aro r tidy sum. Police are working on leads and anyone having knowledge, or noting anything suspicious in the three areas should contact the police, so that the culprits can be apprehended. |
