Show Orem, have been visiting relatives rela-tives and friends in town this past week. Miss Kathy Gilli.ns and two friends from Salt Lake are vacationing va-cationing in Southern Calif, for a couple of weeks. Mrs. Mary Clark and family fam-ily of Salt Lake spent the weekend with her sister ard family, Wayne and Merle Gil-lins. Gil-lins. Friday they attended the wedding of her son, Wayne Manzone Clark in Cedar City. Also attending were Mr. and Mrs. Tex Marshall and family. A get together was held Sunday Sun-day evening, Sept 12. at the home of Mr. and Mrs Thi:r-man Thi:r-man Eyre in honor of the birthday of Jerry and Inna Eyre. Those attending besides the hosts and honored guest were: Mr. and Mrs. David Gale and family, Cedar City: Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Eyre, Mrs. Caroyln Maycock and family, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Eyre and family, Mr. and Mrs. Garold Eyre. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gibson, Mr. and Mrs. Ty Gillins, Mrs. Daisy Gillins and Karl, Mr. Clark Gillins and Mrs. Vella Stephenson. The evening was spent visiting and refreshments were served. Mrs Ruth Havward and Mr. Literary Club was held Wednesday, Wed-nesday, Sept. 8 at the home of Mrs. Shirley HclKngshead. Co-hostess, Co-hostess, Mrs. Eleanore Marshall. The book report was prepared by Mrs. Lola Roberts. Refreshments Re-freshments were served to 16 members. Mrs. Edith Marshall entertained enter-tained the Canasta Club at her home Tuesday, Sept. 7. Prizes were won by Mrs. Dona Carter. Car-ter. Mrs. Merle Gillins and Mrs. Eleanore Marshall. Refreshments Re-freshments were served to eight members. Mrs. Vella Stephenson was hostess to the G.I.A. 500 B of LE Ladies Thursday, Sept. 9th. Luncheon was served at 1:00 p.m. After which a short business busi-ness meeting was held. The remainder re-mainder of the afternoon was spent playing cards. Prizes at Bridge were won by Mrs. Wanda Wan-da Treat and Mrs. Vera Vincent. Vin-cent. Pinochle, Mrs. Marvel Connell and Mrs. Mary Singleton. Single-ton. There were eleven members mem-bers attending. Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Eyre took their granddaughter Ker-ri Ker-ri Ann Miles to school at the B.Y.U. Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Hol-lingshead Hol-lingshead and Tammy took their daughter Madalyn to school at the B. Y. U. They spent the night at Heber City with relatives. Miss Janet Marshall spent the weekend in Phoenix with relatives. Mrs. Rayma Strong, San Deigo, is spending a couple of weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arshal Evans. Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Gray, Mrs. Ruth Hayward and Mr. and Mrs. Bub Hayward and family, Ely, Nev., spent overnight over-night with Mr. and Mrs. Thur-man Thur-man Eyre. Mr. and Mrs. Truman Brad-field Brad-field spent the weekend with their daughter, Mrs. Mary Lou Rowberry and family, Provo. Mrs. Gladys Myers spent a week in Provo getting ac- quainted with her 1st great grandchild, a daughter born to Craig and Linda Myers Thomas. Thom-as. Mr. Grant Pryor, Tucson. Ariz, is visiting his mother, Mrs. Imanda Nolder. Wendy Carter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Carter was honored at a party to celebrate her 5th birthday, Thursday, Sept. 9th. Travis Dalton. 3-year-old son of Keith and Marsha Dalton suffered a broken arm when he fell from a tractor. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil James, Salt Lake, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Phil Roberts over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Gress-man, Gress-man, Sugus, Calif., announce the birth of a girl Sept. 8th. This is their third daughter. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Neil Gressman and Mr. and Mrs. Ken Myers, Oregon. Great-grandparents, Great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Corbridge and Mrs. Alba Carter and great-great grandmother, Mrs. Edith Brad-field. Brad-field. Mrs. Penney Milner and son have spent two weeks in Las Vegas visiting relatives.
