TWENTY-FOUR YEARS AGO August 28, 1947 Jesse E. Long joins the Milford Mil-ford High School teaching staff this year. He will teach social science. Mr. and Mrs. George A. Hor-ton Hor-ton have moved to Greenville to make their home. Mr. and Mrs. Weston Vernon. Mrs. Evelyn Vernon and small daughter Linda, Mrs. Alta Johnson, Evelyn's mother, all of Salt Lake City, attended the wedding and reception of Miss Claire Vernon and Mr DuWayne Williams, Thursday evening. Franklin Wallin, telling his friends that he was married to Miss Lottie L. Weber, in Salt Lake City, August 17, when he received word that a splendid well of water had been finished fin-ished on his ranch near Milford. Mil-ford. FORTY-TWO YEARS AGO August 30, 1929 Bigger than preceeding Fairs in point of attendance was the Third Annual Fair of the South Milford Community Club, held Wednesday at the club-house.
