With a community education program we can more fully utilize the existing school facilities fa-cilities and fill the educational a.nd recreational needs of the community as well. With the possibilities of a-shorter a-shorter work week and earlier retirement in the near future, we are continually urged to find hobbies or other creative activities to fill our leisure time more constructively. Community education offers this opportunity to you. There are many types of handicraft hobby classes that may be offered, of-fered, such as ceramic painting, knitting, basic art course, stretch and sew. furniture upholstery, up-holstery, wood working or leather craft, etc. It is possible for the whole family to participate in this proeram. Father and sons, and mothers and daughters could take courses together, for a family togetherness or to complete com-plete a project for the home. Nursery type classes could be arranged for youngsters whose parents wished to tako a class at the same time. Courses for high school and college credit also are available. avail-able. The possibilities are unlimited un-limited if sufficient interest is shown. """e are to the point where only you the citizens of the community cp.n help.
