Mr. and Mrs. Clair Whitlock and children of Boise, Idaho are visiting with his brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Whitlocl:. Mr. a.nd Mrs. Charlie Jones at the fish hatchery are on vacation in Idaho this week. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Hecka-thorn Hecka-thorn visited with Mr. and Mrs. Bud Richardson Wednesday evening. Cecil Rowley was in Ely on business Saturday. Matelda Swallow and neice Jennifer of Ely are visiting with Mrs. Swallow's daughter Darleen Whitlock. Funeral Services were held Saturday in Ibapah for Dan Probart, father of Blake Pro-bart. Pro-bart. Doris Halvorsen and children of Bayside, Calif and Helen Sorense.n and daughter of Salt Lake spent last week in Cal-lao Cal-lao at the mill site Visiting with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Timm and their brother, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Timm and friends. Saturday afternoon. Bob Halvorsen Hal-vorsen and Mr. A.ndy of Bay-side, Bay-side, Calif, flew to Salt Lake City and then spent Sunday at the mill site visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Dorian Faber and chile' ren of Mercedes. Calif, flew to Garrison last week to visit with Mrs. Faber's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gonder and family. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Murphi spent several days on vacation in the area. Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Hessel-gesser Hessel-gesser went to Salt Lake Tuesday on business. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Richardson Richard-son bought a new LTD Ford last Friday in Delta. Barbara Rowley went to Delta Monday to renew her drivers license. Shra was accompanied ac-companied by Meg Hesselges-ser. Hesselges-ser. LaRue Rowley took her grandchildren to Delta Monday to pick up supplies. Those attending the horse races in Ely over the weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Dee Jensen, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Whitlock, Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Dearden, Mr. and Mrs Lee Dearden and their friends the McCumbers and Moore's of Willow Beach, Nev. and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Dearden. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Osborne spent Sunday afternoon visiting visit-ing in Milford anc! Cedar City. Arvilla Williams and Billie Osborne went to Delta Monday to attend the UEA meeting. P. J. Lee and family of Las Vegas spent a couple of weeks visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Ladd Davis and family. Molly and Pat Gonder were Delta visitors Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Ron Huntington Hunting-ton were in Delta an Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Dell Young visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Yersin Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Richardson Richard-son were in Salt Lake over the weekend. While there they visited their daughter and family, fam-ily, Mr. and Mrs. Al Corey and Margaret Richardson. Chester Wheeler a.nd Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Gonder wentr Mrs. Cecil Bates and children, and Mr. and Mrs. Lanny Bates an-? children. They all enjoyed dinner at the home of Mrs. Cecil Bates and a tour through Crystal Ball Cave, Devil's Gate and swimming afterwards. Sp4 Bertie Bake, WAC of Arlington, Va. spent several days visiting her sister, Mr. and Mrs. Lanny Bates and children in Gandy. Bertie will be stationed at Ft. Sam Houston, Hous-ton, Texas. The West Desert Fair was held Saturday in Callao at th Bagley Ranch. There was a good turnout from the valley. Everyone enjoyed a fashion show, demonstrations and displays. dis-plays. Mr. arc! Mrs. Doug Castagno and children spent the weekend week-end in Gandy visiting with her, parents Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Bates and family and attending attend-ing ihe Lair. Bob's family and getting an estimate on the carpenter work at the mill. Mr. Andy will be back in about two weeks to complete this work. Mr. and Mrs. La Von Rowley and children spent the weekend week-end visiting in Callao at the mill sight. Saturday morning three of Oliver Tripp's haystacks caught fire and burned to the grou.nd. Donna Mayfield and children chil-dren of Coll Vill spent several days in Callao visiting with her . sisters, Leah Layla.nd, Merna Lee and Cora Sabey and attended funeral services for Dan Probart. Mabel Timm, Doris Halvorsen Halvor-sen and Linda Timm spent the day Friday in Delta. Mr. and Mrs. Dorsey Sabey and son were in Delta Friday Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Tripp and grandchildren were in Delta Friday on business. Eugene Timm went to Salt Lake Monday on business. Tuesday, Doris Halvorsen and children, Mabel and Linda Timm were visitors in Garrison Garri-son at the home of Mr .and Mrs. La Von Rowley. That evening, eve-ning, they all enjoyed a picnic pic-nic supper on Snake Creek. Wednesday morning Barbara Rowley and children went to Gandy to visit with Mr. and |
