Show Tigers Practice One-Two Punch, Paro wan-Beaver week and they'll be tough this year, they have a lot of returning re-turning lettermen from last year's championship team. The chant in Tiger stadium this past week has been Down with the Rams and most folks around Milford expect ex-pect just that Saturday .night when the Parowan Rams invade in-vade the Milford field for the first game of the 1971 season. Coaches Payne and Jensen, claim they are headed for a good season, "If only we can stay healthy." "We've got a small squad the coach said, small in number, num-ber, but not in heart. When we go up against a team with lots of reserves, and have someone hurt, it really puts a hole in us. Most of our guys play both offense and defense. They have to, there are only thirty-three on the squad. But, if we can slay healthy, we'll be tough. Parowan always comes up with a good team and it will be a good warmup for the opener. We meet Beaver next |
