Show IT MAKES YOU KINDA WONDER! You can't prove anything at least not yet but, you got to admit that it makes you kinda wonder what is going on with the hiring in our school district. Milford started the summer in need of a basketball coach, many contracts were offered to applicants, and returned, for what reason we don't know. For what reason we don't know, Ibut we do know that the school district had a whale of a time finding a Basketball Coach for MHS until Mr. Eads was hired last Wednesday to coach and teach Spanish. Now what is funny is this, all the while Supt. Bliss was looking so hard for a MHS coach and couldn't find one, he was able to turn up a new basketball coach for Beaver High School, and they weren't even looking for one. They still had, their coach from last year that took them to the state tourney. But suddenly when this new coach was found, his coaching credentials at BHS were dropped and the new coach hired to fill the position. All the while, Milford is still without a basketball coach, and almost without prospects. Granted, the Supt. did manage to come up with Mr. Eads, before school started. And we would not want to cast any aspersions on Mr. Eads qualifications. We hope he is a great coach. We'll be satisfied if he is just a teensy bit better than average. With the material avail-to avail-to him this year he should go far, even farther than our cross county rivals. But, we'd like to hear Supt. .Bliss's explanation, on how he could hire a basketball coach for BHS, where he already had one, and a pretty good one at that and at the time, still not have the coaches position filled at MHS. It all might he perfectly legitiment but you got to admit it makes you kinda wonder! |
