Show Candy The Dave Candido Chicflones Merrifield An entertainment extravaganza is promised for the 1971 Utah State Fair, September 9-19, at the Fairgrounds in Salt Lake City with the appearance of The Chieftones, a youthful, all Indian, singing quartet from Canada who turn on a musicianship delighting delight-ing listeners with current hits, old ballads, folk, western, country-rock and religious songs. Spine-tingling drama in space will thrill Fair-goers Fair-goers as Dave Merrifield stunts from a helicopter heli-copter 200 ft. up; an act especially spectacular spectacu-lar at night and visible for miles. Back again as master of ceremonies to amuse and delight Fair-goers will be Candy Candido, a comic whose versatile voice has been featured on stage, screen, radio, television tele-vision and Disney movies. |
