Fyre. son of Mr. and Mrs. Garold F. Eyre, of Minersville, will leave for an L.D.S. Mission in the East Australia Mission on June 9. Kendal is a graduate of Beaver High and has been attending at-tending USU for one quarter. He is a member of the Beaver National Guard. He will enter the mission home on June 5th. Missionary farewell will be held in the Minersville Ward on Sunday May 2:; a; 6:30 p.m. Canasta Club was entertained entertain-ed Manday, May 10 at the home of Mrs. Dor.a Carter. Prizes were won by Mrs. Vie Marshall, Mrs. Merle Gillins and Mrs. Margaret Ann Williams. Wil-liams. Refreshments were served serv-ed to members and guest, Mrs. Patn McMullen. Mrs. Nolder Nold-er has been in the Milford Hospital. Janet Marshall and a friend, Vicki Hatt, students at B.Y.U. spent the weekend with Janets Jan-ets parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Marshall. Smith announce the pending marriage of their daughter Chisty to Mr. Ralph Myers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ver.don Myers. The ceremony is scheduled for Friday, Fri-day, May 21st at Beaver. Both are Seniors at Beaver High School. Christy is a member of the B-Steps. Ralph attended Boys State in 1970 and was prominent in Athletics at Beaver High. Mr. and Mrs. Phil Robsrts and Mrs. Kaye Miller and children chil-dren were in Salt Lake a few days last week. Phil had to receive medical attention. Kyl3 Gray, son of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Gray was honored at a party Sunday on his 6th birthday. A birthday party was given for Chad Black, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Black, Monday, May 17 on his 4th birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Wood took Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jameson and their daughter,-Mrs. daughter,-Mrs. Doreen Harrison to Salt Lake last week for medical attention. Misses Pam Marshall, Lori Eyre and Doris Hollingshead attended a District 7 Girl-Staters Tea in Cedar City, Sunday. They were accompanied by Mrs. Daisy Gillins, Past-President of Minersville American Legion Auxiliary. Miss Sherry Lynn Marshall, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Marshall and Miss Ra Nae Albrecht, Al-brecht, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Albrecht are in the Top Ten honor students in the class of 1971 at Beaver High School.
