Mr. and Mrs. Charles Holm and family, Kenneth, Russell, Rodney, daughter Mrs. Wendy Pectcl and two children, Terri and Ralph Jr., motored to Franklin, Idaho to attend the Neeley reunion. Kenneth continued con-tinued on to Rexburg. Idaho where he will attend school at Ricks College. Robert Willingham, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Willing-ham, Willing-ham, former resident of Milford, Mil-ford, graduated August 15 from the University of Utah. He majored ma-jored in finance. Steven Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Miller, graduated from the University of Utah. He graduated Cum Laude from the school of business, majoring major-ing in finance. Overnight guests at the Lloyd Mayer home were Mrs. Ruth Parish of San Jose, Calif, and her grandchildren, Debbie and Warren Neihart, of Blackfoot, Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Duard Evans spent the weekend in Grand Junction, Colo. They made the trip with Mr. and Mrs. Howard How-ard Sherwood of American Fork. Mrs. James (Madelyn) Mash returned to her home in Salt Lake City Tuesday, after spending spend-ing ten days with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Lloyd F. Kohler. Mr. and Mrs. Ned Kohler and two children, Jill Marie and Kevin returned to their home in San Diego after spending a week here with Ned's parents, Dr. and Mrs. L. F. Kohler. Dr. Kohler has been seriously ill in the Milford Valley Hospital for the past two weeks, but is now improving satisfactorily. - Mr. and Mrs. Robert Loss a.nd son Jamie, and Mr. Edgar Moore left Monday morning for Lamar, Colo, where Mr. Loss will take up a teaching position in the high school. Mr. Moore will return home this weekend. Steven James, grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Williams, who has been on leave from the Marines, and visiting here with his grandparents, will return re-turn to duty this week on his way to Vietnam. This will be his 4th tour of Duty in Vietnam. Viet-nam. William Lester James of Memphis, Tenn. is here visiting his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Williams for a few weeks. Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Anderson of Bountiful, Utah, visited Sunday Sun-day with Mrs. Naomi Hughes. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Adam-son Adam-son of American Forks, Utah, lare visiting Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Wen-dell Keech for a few days. Mrs. Dorothy Morris is returning re-turning her grandsons, Randy and Ronnie Morris to China Lake, Calif. this weekend. Milford Notes Jin Alice Baxter 387-2319 Weekend visitors at the home of Mrs. Helen Cook were Mr. and Mrs. Graydon Kraemer of Denver Colorado. Barbara Jean Wright and Silvia Ann Van Tassell of Milford, Mil-ford, left this weekend to attend at-tend the Laurel Youth Leadership Leader-ship Conference which will be held at BYU, August 22 through 2b. This will be workshop classes clas-ses in homemaking, creative arts and business. Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Wun-derlich, Wun-derlich, are making their home at No. 17 West Center St. in the Baxter Apts. for the time being. Miss Mary Lund has arrived home and is trying to be extra careful in moving around so that she will be able to go to school this fall. Mrs. Edith Force of Modena was the weekend guest of her daughter, Mrs. Eloise White and family. Mr. and Mrs. Nels Bedingfield had as their guest last week, Miss Vickie Maach, of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Baxter and family left Friday for Salt Lake City to visit their daughter and family, Mrs. Clyde Williams. The children of both families attended the circus and on Sunday they went for a swim in the Great Salt Lake. Tracy reports that it really is salty. Mrs. Grace Higbee and children chil-dren of Santee, Calif, accompanied accom-panied her mother, Mrs. Howard How-ard Lund home to visit for two weeks. Monday, Mary Lund was hostess to a surprise birthday birth-day party for her neice, Mo-nique Mo-nique Higbee. Mrs. Charles Miller of Cal-iente, Cal-iente, Nevada, accompanied her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Miller to the graduation of Steve, son of W. P. Miller, from the University Univer-sity of Utah on August 15. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Mclntyre and family, Bill, Vaughn, and Julie Ann, were weekend visitors vis-itors at the homes of their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Mclntyre Mc-lntyre and Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Baxter. Grandchildren of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Belliston, Marg and Kerri Ann of Cupertino, Calif, are spending a few weeks with them. After a camping and fishing fish-ing trip in the Beaver Mts., Mr. and Mrs. Belliston will accompany accom-pany the children to Las Vegas, where their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Belliston will meet them and return to their home. Mrs. Michael Daly and children, chil-dren, Mark, Michael, Jennifer and Jill, are spending the week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Baxter. A lovely good morning breakfast break-fast was served on Monday to old friends at the home of Mrs. Maurice Johnson. Those enjoying enjoy-ing the occasion were Mrs. Harry Jefferson of El Paso, Texas; Mrs. Iona Baxter, Mrs, LaPrele Lewis, Mrs. Vvs Baxter, Bax-ter, and Mrs. Serelda Fernley. |
