Show THE TIGERS ARE READY! WHERE ARE THE FANS? They're hitti.ng hard and they are ready to hit someone, besides each other, according to coach Payne. We've come a long ways in just two weeks, thanks to the boys reporting in good shape, and ready to go to work. Now if they can just put it all together, watch out Richfield, Rich-field, Here Come the Tigers! The bovs were unanimous, "We're going to win" they shouted. Going through their drills, and formations, you don't hear any griping, little talk, just lots of hard work. Onlookers say, "They look good for this early in the season", sea-son", "they're big," "they're going to be tough to beat'' are comments heard wherever you go- The big test is Friday night against a much bigger school. It's also the first time that they've played a game before tchool officially starts. The coaches, the Tigers, the cheerleaders, and the Tigerettes are ready for Friday night, are the fans? By Debbie Yardley The Tigers are looking great! Two practices a day have really put them in shape. The team is so anxious to get going, they have been coming to practice early and find the Tigerettes working on new routines for the home games. As often as not, when they show up for practice, they find the cheerleaders working over their yells and movements, in readiness for Friday night's game. There's a special feeling going go-ing around, you can fe'il it on the field, at the school, and downtown. It's a winning feeling, feel-ing, a winning season. Support the Tigers and be a part of it. |
