Show FIRE ON 'FLAT' RUINS SHED, TRACTOR $ Fire at the Daisy Rowley farm two miles southeast of 'Milford last Saturday after-' after-' noon caused an estimated $8,000 damage, according to Mrs. Rowley. Workmen burning weeds along the fence line of an adjoining ad-joining farm left the fire unattended, un-attended, Mrs. Rowley said, and the blaze spread to the fence line on her property, and from there to a storage shed. The shed was completely razed, destroying a case of motor oil, 15 bags of -wool, and a tractor parked alongside the shed, as well as a mower and tools. The Milford Volunteer Fire Department answered the alarm, but were unable to save the shed or contents because of lack of water. Their efforts were further hampered when a 50-gallon drum of gasoline exploded. |
