Show Mr. and Mrs. Don Young and J.cr brother, John H. McCulley ot Oakland, Calif., flew to Oakland Oak-land to meet the Young's son Donnie, who returned from Vietnam. Mr. MeCull.y had been visiting in Las Vegas and Mil ford. Wiley. Judy Raines is transferring from the Extension BYU School I of Nursing in Salt Lake to ! the BYU in Provo. She spent , several days at the home of 1 her mother, Mrs. Mary Raines. O Mrs. Dorothy Newdigate of Salt Lake and her brother in law and sister in law, Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Kizer of Tooele are spending a few days at Mrs. Newdigate's Milford home. Mrs. Lcla Gilliam is in Sou-the-n California visiting her children. n A surprise birthday party was given in honor of Mrs. Dora Johnson Monday evening, Jan. 19, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Kirk. A dinner din-ner was served to Mrs. Johnson, John-son, Mr. and Mrs. Alden Johnson John-son and two children, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Ferguson and Warren Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. John H. Walker announce the birth of a granddaughter, grand-daughter, a 6 lb 11 oz girl born Dec. 26 in Salt Lake to Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Vor-heis. Vor-heis. O Word has been received that a 6 lb 7 oz son, their first child, was born Jan. 20 in Salt Lake to John and Anna Rae Roberts. Grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Ben Cooper were in Salt Lake at the time, and great-grandparents great-grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Earl Thompson will be in Salt Lake this week to see the newcomer, and to visit a granddaughter, Mrs. Sheila Brinkman, who underwent un-derwent nose surgery. Ths Thompsons will stay with Mr. and Mrs. Val Thompson in Tooele. Greg McGinn, 21 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. G. E. McGinn, has enlisted in the U. S. Army and will be stationed sta-tioned at St. Lewis, Wash., for basic training. Russell Rose, 9 year eld son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Rose, suffered a broken right arm last Wednesday when he fell in the Elementary School multi-purpose room. |
