Show Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Banks of Santa Clara are spending a week with their son and daughter daugh-ter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Banks. The LDS Mutual held their opening soical Tuesday evening eve-ning at the Recreation Area in Minersville Canyon. e Melvin Lashua of Port Townsend, Wash., and Miss Janet Cozad of Albany, Ore., spent a week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Pryor. Mr. Lashua is Mrs. Pryor's brother, and Miss Cozad is her cousin. Mrs. Vella Stephenson has moved back to Minersville from Salt Lake, and has purchased the former Lee Gillins home. Her son, Jay Browner of California, Cali-fornia, has been in Beaver County calling on friends and relatives. Mrs. Carol Perks and children, chil-dren, Mrs. Lola Roberts and Mrs. Devota Heslington, all motored mo-tored to Tacoma, Wash. Mrs. Perks and children were returning re-turning to their home after spending the summer with her mother, Mrs. Roberts. 6 Al and LaRee Morin and children were at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arshal Evans, over the Labor Day holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Heslington Hes-lington and three children of Bountiful were recent visitors at the home of his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Heslington. Keith Carter, teen age son of Karen Carter of Satsop, Wash., spent two weeks with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Sheral Carter and Reed. Mr. and Mrs. Kurtt Bohn and family of Las Vegas spent the Labor Day holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andy Bohn. Troy Smith, grandson of Mrs. Gladys Myers, suffered a broken arm last week when he fell from a tree in the Myers yard. Troy, Kelly Todd and Chad Smith, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Smith of Las Vegas, were here visiting their grandmother. grand-mother. Mr. and Mrs. Smith came to get their children after aft-er learning of the accident, and Mrs. Myers accompanied them back to Las Vegas. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Limb were in Vernal over the Labor Day holidays at the home of their son, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Rich-ard Limb. Mrs. Edith Bradfield was admitted to the Milford Valley Memorial Hospital for a few 'days rest. Frank Carter has been released re-leased from the Milford Valley Memorial Hospital Mrs. Alba Carter is visiting her children in California George and Loretta Hales and Jim and Elizabeth Ann Pierce have moved to Milford. The men are employed by the Union Un-ion Pacific and the ladies are daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Leland Le-land Banks. |
