Show OPEN HOUSE TO FETE MR. AND MRS. BANKS An open house honoring Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Banks will be held Saturday afternoon, Sept. 13, at their home in Santa , Clara. Mr. and Mrs. Banks will be observing their Golden Wedding Wed-ding anniversary. Joseph Blaine Banks was born Aug. 12, 1896, in Minersville, Miners-ville, to James E. and Anne Reese Banks. Rose Hannah Corbridge Banks was born Aug. 31, 1903, in Minersville, to William and Hannah Corford Corbridge. They were married Sept. 9, 1919, in the St. George Temple. Mr. Banks (worked on the section gang for the Union Pacific Pa-cific until his retirement in 1961. They lived in Minersville, Miners-ville, moving to Santa Clara a few years ago. Mr. Banks is a World War I veteran, and a member of the DAV. Both have held several sever-al offices in the LDS Church. |
