Show KENNETH HOLLIS, MAKES LAST RUN FOR UNION PACIFIC Kenenth Hollis is the third Milford railroad engineer to retire from the Union Pacific in less than two weeks. He made his last run pulling train No. 6 to Milford from Las Vegas Monday afternoon. Mr. Hollis began his Union Pacific employment in 1925 in the roundhouse at Milford. He also worked for Pacific Fruit Express, and in 1928 made his first run as a fireman. fire-man. In 1941 he was promoted to engineer. Kenneth Hollis was born Dec. 24, 1903, in Beaver, to Charles Thomas and Frances Crosby Hollis. He married Garnetta Goodwin in May, 1927, in Beaver. He is a member of the Methodist Meth-odist Church, the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, and the Union Pacific Old Timers Club. Mr. and Mrs. Hollis have two sons and two daughters, Kenneth Ken-neth Neil. Las Vegas, and DeLos Hollis, La Mirada, Cal.-Mrs. Cal.-Mrs. Carol Bingham, Klamath Falls, Oregon, and Mrs. Afton Bockwcldt, Layton; also nino grand-children and three greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren.
