Show LiONS PLAN BIRTHDAY OBSERVANCE The Milford Lions Club will observe their 45th anniversary on Saturday, April 26th, with a hospitality hour, banquet and dance. The club was organized April 28, 1924, with 35 charter char-ter members, and today has 33 members. Sam Cline is the only current cur-rent member who was a charter char-ter member. The Milford club has furnished one district governor, gov-ernor, Edmund L. Smith, who was governor of District 28-H in 1966-67. Festivities will start with a hospitality hour in St. Bridget's recreation hall at 7 p. m., followed fol-lowed by the banquet in the multi-purpose room of the Elementary Ele-mentary School. Special guests will 'be Rulon N. Broadhead, district governor, and Raymond A. Jackson, past district governor, gov-ernor, who will also be the banquet speaker . j Dancing will follow the banquet. |
