Show SERVICES, HELD IN MINERS VILLE FOR OBRA MYERS Funeral services for Obra Moroni Myers, 61, life-long rimersville resident, were conducted con-ducted Monday in the Miners-ville Miners-ville LDS Chapel. He died Thursday, March 30, following a heart attack. The services, under direction of Bishop Milton Albrecht, were as follows: Prayer at the home, Obra Art Myers. Invocation, Victor Myers. Vocal duet, "My Testimony," Melvin and Gale Carter. Obituary and tribute, Bernicc Gillins. Piano solo, "Spring Impromptu," Im-promptu," Ann Myers. Piano solo, "Faith of Our Fathers," Beth Myers. . Talk, Ira Mitchell Fisher. Vocal trio, "Jesus Lover of My Soul,-' Milton Albrecht, Marcine Davis, Lee Marshall. Remarks, Bishop Albrecht. Benediction, Claude Myers. The grave in the Minersville Cemetery was dedicated by Kent Myers. Pallbearers were Melvin Carter, Car-ter, Mark Carter, Gayle Carter, Car-ter, Lorraine Gillins, Daniel Davis, Karl Murdock, Dyke LeFevre and Kurtt Bohn. Honorary Hon-orary pallbearers were presidents presi-dents of Seventy and Quorum of Seventy. Flowers were cared for by the Minersville Ward Relief Society, granddaughters and , nieces. Obra Moroni Myers was born April 7, 1905, in Minersville, Miners-ville, to Moroni and Harriett Bradshaw Myers. He married Gladys Eyre, Nov. 2, 1925, in Peaver. The marriage "was later solemnized in the St. George Temple. He had been employed by the Union Pacific Railroad at Milford for many years. He also served as a member of the Beaver County Commission and had been a member of the Minersville Town Council. Surviving are his widow; the following sons and daughters: Obra A., Kearns; Kent E Cedar Ce-dar City; Mrs. Rex M. (Carol) Carter, Beaver; Mrs. Kenneth Lee (Sally) Smith, Las Vegas; 21 grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Claude J., Craig, Colo.; Victor G., Mrs. Daisel R. (Wil-nia) (Wil-nia) Davis, Mrs. Cass Mc-Knight, Mc-Knight, Mrs. Ellis Hope LeFevre, Le-Fevre, Mrs. Golden (Hilda) Marshall, all of Minersville; Mrs. Claire " (Helen) Gillins, Milford; Mxs. Ray (Maude) Messinger, Escondido, Calif. |
