Show SPORTSMEN FILM SHOWS NEW HUNTING SCENES FROM ALASKA Larry Jones brings to the area the first film of Southeast Alaska's fabulous hunting and fishing. This two-hour color movie, narrated by Mr. Jones, shows the first pictures ever filmed of the world record sea lion hunt witn bow and arrow. "Aleyska" will be shown in the Milford High School auditorium at 8 p. m. Tuesday, Tues-day, Feb. 7. Doors will open at 7 p. m. Until recently, the inaccesible islands of Southeast Alaska have remained almost unknown to hunters. The big Kodiak and huge black bear abound in the islands. According to Larry Jones, high adventure waits for any person, not only sportsmen, who wants to venture ven-ture into the North Country. Traveling north from Prince Rupert, British Columbia, by boat thru the Inland Passage, you will find some of the most beautiful mountains, bays, fjords and inlets on the North American continent. Fishing is out of this world where salmon up to 50 lbs are caught every day, And it isn't impossible impos-sible to catch halibut pn rod ) and reel that will go several hundred pounds, A number of animals such as cieer, "goats, wolves and waterfowl water-fowl may be hunted August 1 thru December 31. "Alyeska," the spectacular story of Mr, Jones' most recent expedition to the North Country, Coun-try, concludes with the only film ever taken of a polar shot with bow and arrow, This world record bear was shot from a distance of only 40 ft.
