Show MOSS URGES INCREASE IN EARNINGS OF THOSE DRAWING SOCIAL SECURITY Recipients of monthly Social Security payments would be allowed al-lowed to earn up to $210 each month under terms of a bill introduced in the U S Senate by Senator Frank E. Moss. Senator Moss said that presently pres-ently persons who depend on Social Security payments are limited to a maximum of $125 per month in outside earnings, ' which is not enough to assure p reasonable standard of living liv-ing for our elderly citizens." Senator Moss' bill amends the Social Security Act to increase in-crease the annual amount which an older person may earn without the individual suffering deductions from insurance in-surance benefits payable under the act. |
