Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Kaufman Kauf-man are vacationing in Yakima, Yak-ima, Wash., until Oct. 6, visiting visit-ing Ralph's brother Wesley and picking wild blackberries which are abundant on the eastern slope of the Cascades. Mrs. Vanda Baker is substitute postmistress while Heddie is away. The Nevada Fish and Game Commission has appointed Albert Al-bert Alcorn a part-time employee em-ployee at the Snake Creek rearing ponds to assist Frank Dodge. Mr. Alcorn comes from the Ruby Fish Hatchery and will arrive on Oct. 1. Pete Kaufman underwent minor surgery In Cedar City on Friday. He was accompanied accompa-nied by his wife Leona. Mike Drakulich of the D-X Ranch went to Reno, mid-week, to visit his mother and his two daughters.
