Show I LEGION AUXILIARY OFFICERS, SEATED Mrs. Phyllis Truman of Minersville, Min-ersville, District President of the American Legion Auxiliary, Auxil-iary, installed 1936-67 officers for Milford Unit No. 16 Monday Mon-day evening in St. Bridget's Recreation Hall. Accompanying Mrs. Truman to Milfcrd were her secretary, Mrs. Betty Marshall, Mrs. Florence Flo-rence Wood, president of the Minersville Unit, Mrs. Dorothy Doro-thy Wood and Mrs. Leola Tallin: Officers installed were Lillian Lil-lian Anderson 'by proxy) president; Patricia Williams, first vice president; Lela Gilliam, Gil-liam, second vice president; Letha Smyth, treasurer; Ardath Outzen, historian; Nina Bingham, Bing-ham, sergeant at arms; M'i-tta Weston, chaplain, ard Bonnie rriar, jdnior past president. Preceding the ins1allat;rn Enoch Swain, Milford Legion Commander, addressed the ladies la-dies regarding financing of the new Legion Hall and asked assitance in presenting a talent tal-ent show in October, and other oth-er fund-raising ac'ivties. Hostesses for the evening were Mrs. Judy Briscoe. Mrs. Letha Smyth and Mrs. Friar. |
