Mrs. Naomi Hughes is in Colorado Springs, Colo., to be with her son, Major Nolan Hughes, who suffered a heart attack and has been confined to a hopsital for three weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Far-now Far-now and daughter Vickie of Las Vegas, and Ray and Norma Christensen and children Shan-na Shan-na Bryan, and friend Dave of Bountiful, have been visiting Mrs. Edythe Grimshaw and helping open their summer cabins In the Beaver Mountains. Moun-tains. Mrs. Mary Crookston of Las Vegas is spending two weeks with her brothers in law and sisters, Mr. and Mrs. John Weston Wes-ton and Mr. and Mrs. Powell Smyth. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Wlnkel have moved Into the Mack Thompson home. Here to see their father, Ed Leech, who is confined to the Milford Valley Memorial Hospital, Hos-pital, were his son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ward Leech and 6 week old son Charles Roland of Kearns, and his daughter, Mrs. Pat Stewart and children of Salt Lake. Mrs. Adelle Gilliam and two children accompanied Mrs. Anderson and she went on to Loa Angeles to see her husband hus-band Fred, Ronnie and Judy Gilliam, and Sidney and Audrey Aud-rey Whltelock. Mrs. Mary Long and son Jay are In Milford to attend the high school graduation activities. ac-tivities. Miss Arlene Gale, licensed practical nurse at the Milford Valley Memorial Hospital, plans to resign May 23rd. Mrs. Margaret Mar-garet Dalton of Minersville and Miss Deanna Walker of South Milford, who have been part time employees, will work full time. Mr. and Mrs. Doug Gilliam left Tuesday for Salt Lake on a business trip. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Holbrook are in the Los Angeles area, where Mrs. Holbrook underwent under-went major surgery. Mrs. Helen Cook of South Milford and Mrs. Beniti Burke will leave early next week for a two week trip.' Mrs. Cook will attend a high school class reunion at Kerkimer, Kansas, and visit a brother In law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Williams, Wil-liams, and Mrs. Burke will visit a niece in Denver. Mr. and Mrs. Zeal Norton of Lynnwood, Calif., are here for the summer, living In a trailer house on the lot of their son in law and daughter, Keith and Ida Leany. James Huskey, American Mining Co. employe, has moved to the Heber Myers rental house on Main Street. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Dalton have purchased the Frank Yee home at 701 South 200 West. Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Myers, who had been occupying the home, have moved to the Gerald Ger-ald Gillins rental house at 662 South 400 West. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Whiting are moving Into their new home at 284 South 400 West. Mr. and Mrs. Wade Meadows and three children of New Hall, Calif., are here vacationing vacation-ing and to attend the graduation gradua-tion exercises. Mr. Wade's brother, Brent Baxter, is one of the graduates. Brent's sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Lani Williams and daughter of Salt Lake will also be here for the event. All will be guests of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Nor-man Baxter. Mrs. Fern Burbidge, president presi-dent of the Milford BPW Club, and members Mrs. Gwen Smith, Mrs. Nelda Memmott, Mrs. Ina Norton, Mrs. Patricia Rimpau, Mrs. Pauline Rummler and Mrs. Beatrice Oxley attended the state convention in Brig-ham Brig-ham City last week end. Mrs. James Sloan is attending attend-ing ministers' meeting in Ogden Og-den and a farewell for their Methodist district superintendent. superinten-dent.
