Show A , .. t Miss Odette Mayer i V . : : Miss Sandra Stevens TWO GIRLS NAMED TO RECEIVE MILFORD VALLEY HOSPITAL SCHOLARSHIPS Two Southern Utah girls have been designated to receive re-ceive the annual Milford Valley Val-ley Memorial Hospital nursing scholarships. The $1500 scholarships schol-arships which may be used at any School of Nursing, have been awarded by the local hospital since 1955, and when no suitable applications are received re-ceived during a calendar year, multiple scholarships are offered of-fered later. A total of nine $1500 scholarships have been awarded. One of this year's recipients is Sandra Stevens, 19 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel E. Stevens of St. George. Miss Stevens graduated from Dixie High School in 1955, and since has been employed at the Dixie Hospital in St. George. She will use the scholarship to attend St. Marks. Hospital School of Nursing in Salt Lake. A Milford girl, Odette Mayer, 17, receives the other 1966 scholarship. She is the daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Russel Mayer of South Milford, and graduates this spring from the Thunderbird Academy, Scotts-dale, Scotts-dale, Ariz. She will attend the School of Nursing at La Sierra College, La Sierra, Calif. Both girls, after completing their nurse training, will be employed at the Milford Valley Memorial Hospital. |
