(-A.f fr-'T iirxi m wmwmm " Cindy Jiminez and Kim Gray "Crystals' Nine Milford Students Gain Honors In Region Science Fair Milford Junior High Students fared quite well in the 1973 Southern Utah Regional Science wards of Hurricane Junior High wen first place in junior physical phy-sical sciences division for a display dis-play on "Why Rockets Fly." Second place in this division went to Cindy Jiminez and Kim Gray of Milford, for an entry entitled "Crystals." Karen Whttaker and Jennelle Leko of Milford won an honorable honor-able mention for "Self-Contained Vivariams." in the biological sciences division while Troy Donnel Cude Milford "Copper Extraction" and Annette Van Tassell and Kim Marie Brox,.. "Moon Base City" won honorable honor-able mention in the junior high physical sciences division. Fair a tSUSC on March 24. Nine first place winners from the Milford Science Fair were entered in the regional fair, and six of them brought home ribbons. rib-bons. Chris Lunt, Cedar City took first place in the biological sciences, junior division for his exhibit on "Anti-Bacterial Effect of Aleo Vera Cactus." Second place in that division went to Michelle Fisher of Milford for a display on "The Irradiation of Seeo's." and Randy Hlatt, also of Milford won third place in the junior biological sciences division for a display on "Pharmaceutical Manufacturing from Natural Sources."
