Show Oldest Resident of Beaver County Celebrates 94 Years He died Jan. 20, 1(152. Their first Beaver Ccunty home with in Greenville. Mrs. Nolder was married tc Fre-d Roberts Pryor. of Holt, Missouri, in May 1898. He was a school teacher in Greenville and she was one of his students. After their marriage they mcv. ed to the mining town of Frisco. Fris-co. In 1900 they m"ved to Min-ersville, Min-ersville, where he was the Justice Jus-tice of Peace and county school superintendent. Mr. Pryor died Nov. 11, 1918 leaving eight children for Mrs Nolder to raise. In 1926, Mrs. Nolder married Isaac Newton Nolder, cf East Elizabeth, Penn. By Patricia Williams Seven out of eight chlidren of Mrs. Amanda E.' Pryor Nolder Nold-er were in Milford at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Patricia Williams, to help her celebrate her 94th birthday anniversary en Friday, March 30. She is the eldest Beaver County resident. Children present for the occasion oc-casion included: Mrs. Sim (El-cise) (El-cise) Murdoek, of Cedar City; Bill Pryor, of Beaver; Grant Pryor a;:d Mrs. Ira (Helen) Larsen, both cf Tucson, Ariz.; Fred Robert Pryor, Orem; and Mrs. Williams. Frank Pryor, of Hcllister, Calif., oldest son of Mrs. Nolder, was unable to be here. Other family members were: sons and daughters-in-law, Sim Murdoek, Mrs. Bill Pryor, Mrs Grant Pryor, Ambrose Dalton and Mrs. Fred R- Pryor; gra.nd- children: Paula Armstrong of Cedar City; Mr. and Mrs. Tom Makin of Ogde-; Todd, Jeff Rcbbin and Darryl Atkin, Milford; Mil-ford; and great-great grandchildren; grand-children; Brett and Tracy Makin, Mak-in, Ogden; brother, Victor Price and neice, Miss Ruth Price both of Salt Lake City. Many friends called during the day and she received many gifts-and gifts-and cards. Mrs. Nolder was born March 30th, 1879, in Saltsburgh, Penn. to Charles and Hannah Single- |
