' '" T' ; I 1 i a " WJt Mr. and Mrs. James Michael Walker BEAUTIFUL HOME CEREMONY UNITES DARRIE JEAN RANDALL - JAMES MICHAEL WALKER The home of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Walker was the setting for a lovely early spring wedding wed-ding for their son James Mich- ael Walker and Darrie Jean Randall, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Randall of St. George, Utah. Bishop Lamar Lund performed perform-ed the faith inspiring and impressive im-pressive ceremony at 5:00 p.m. The happy couple stood under a white satin gold edged, heart shaped arch with Fred Kesler as Best Man arid Mrs. Richard Walker, sister-in-law of the groom as Matron of Honor The bride was given away by her brother, Rrbert Randall of Palo Alto, Calif. She wore a floor length white lace knit dress, with full skirt, long full sleeves edged with white lace and a small train. She carried a bouquet of white roses, edged with green carnations and white lace with long streamers of white satin ribbon and lace. The newlyweds were feted at an open house immediately following fol-lowing the wedding ceremony, attended by many relatives and their close friends, many of whom drove from Cedar City, Minersville, Beaver, St. George, Palo Alto, and Salt Lake City. They cut their beautiful wedding wed-ding cake which was decorated with yellow roses and small yellow candles for friends and relatives attending the wedding and open house. The newlyweds left that evening eve-ning for Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Martinez, Calif, to visit the groom's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. David Guf-fton Guf-fton and children, then on to Florence, Oregon to visit another anoth-er sitter of the grcom, Mr. and Mrs. Terry Yere (Pat) and three, girls, then on to Portland to visit friends, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Culver and Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Baxter. They returned through Washington and Idaho and are making their home in Cedar City. The bride will finish fin-ish her third year of college at SUSC and the groom who is a graduate of the University of Utah will return to his employment employ-ment at the Town and Country Motel and Restaurant. |
