CONFERENCE IN UTAH Lions International will hold its annual Midwinter Conference Confer-ence and Banquet in Utah, Jan. 17 and 18. It will be the West's largest gathernig of Lions, with some 2,000 people from four western states expected to attend at-tend The meetings will start with1 a reception at the Ra-mada Ra-mada Inn, Friday, Jan. 17, m honor of Curis D. Lovill, immediate im-mediate past president of Lions International. Mr. Lovill will be guest speaker. On Saturday the 18th the convention reconvenes at the Ramada for luncheon and a conference reviewing the projects proj-ects and aims of Lions. The big mid-winter banquet is scheduled for Saturday evening eve-ning at the Terrace Ballroom at 7 p. m. with Mr. Lovill as featured fea-tured guest speaker. Additional Addition-al talks will be given by Gov. Curtis D. Lovill George D. Clyde and Mayor J. Bracken Lee. Also expected to attend is Utah's congressional delegation. |
