Show LAURA JIMERSON RETIRES FROM WESTERN UNION Mrs. Laura Brownson Jimer-son Jimer-son worked her last shift as a Western Union telegrapher on Friday, Jan. 10, after 30 years' service. She had been employed at the Milford office for 12 years, previously working in several of the Western States, and at Lund, Utah. Mrs. Jimerson was born Jan. 9, 1899, in Collinston, Utah, to Mr. and Mrs. William Brown-son. Brown-son. She married George D Jimerson Jan. 11, 1929. He died in 1945. She has three children: Dewey Jimerson, a communications communi-cations officer with the Utah State Highway Patrol; Harry Jimerson, Salt Lake City, and ivirs. J,aura Marie Manhard, Milford. She also has 10 grandchildren, grand-children, the 10th grandchild being born Jan. 10th to Mr. and Mrs. Harry Jimerson. Mrs. Jimerson left the same day to assist with her son's family. She plans to stay in Salt Lake for a month before returning re-turning to Milford. Later, she plans to make her home in Salt Lake. |
