Show 9 The Relief Society held their annual birthday dinner and bazaar on Monday, April 15. Mrs. Mildred Martin, Mrs. Madge Carter and Mrs. Bonnie Gray decorated the hall. The theme was from the time Relief Re-lief Society started up to the modern day. Beverly Craw, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Craw, celebrated cel-ebrated her birthday with a party on April 23. O Mr. and Mrs. Doug Blackburn Black-burn and Mr. and Mrs. Val Thompson of Tooele took a 10-day 10-day trip to Denver and Pueblo, Colo., where they will visit Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Christensen and family and Mr. and Mrs. Russell Muir and family. Bonnie Gray motored to Las Vegas last week to visit relatives. rela-tives. Her husband Warren, who is employed there, returned re-turned with her. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Albrecht and family of Ferron were week end guests at the Milton Albrecht home. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Martin and family of Las Vegas visited vis-ited Mr. and Mrs. Dohn Martin over the week end. This Week in MINERSVILLE as reported by GWEN PRYOR Q Harold Marshall has returned return-ed to the VA Hospital in Salt Lake after spending several days at home. The Pinochle Club will hold its meeting at the home of Carla Eyre this week. Mr. and Mrs. Cy Osborne recently returned from a trip to Los Angeles, where they were house guests of their son Doc and family. The Osbornes traveled by car with Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Osborne. Bruce is a coach at the CSU and went to California to attend a convention. Minersville had a very successful suc-cessful polio vaccine clinic Sunday afternoon. In spite of the snow and cold wind, 438 people turned out to take the Type III vaccine. The Canasta Club met at the home of Merle Gillins last week. Donna Carter and Edith Marshall were invited guests. Sybil Smith of Beaver spent one day this week visiting her sister, Bonnie Gray. The Minersville school held their annual school carnival Friday, April 19. A good crowd enjoyed an evening o$ fun, with one young man winning win-ning six cakes on the cake walk. Mr. and Mrs. Stan McKnight were hosts at a birthday dinner din-ner given in honor of Enid Johnson of Milford. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Carter and family and Mr. and Mrs. Arlo Carter and family of Cedar City were among the guests. Sunday guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wells Banks was Erwin Neudorfer, field mechanic for Plasser-Gheurer Railway Machinery Co. of Austria, now working out of their factory in Illinois, e Mr. and Mrs. Hilton Gillins went to Salt Lake last week for medical reasons. |
