Show DURHAM MORRIS TO RETIRE AS JUDGE Durham Morris, who has served as juvenile judge for Iron, Beaver, Washington and Kane Counties for the past eight years, has notified Utah State Department of Public Welfare that he is "not interested" inter-ested" in being appointed as a full time judge for the new Juvenile District IV, which will include Iron, Beaver, Washington, Kane. Sanpete, Savicr. Wayne, Piute and Garfield Gar-field Counties. Mr. Morris said that after the expiration of his present term as part-time juvenile judge, June 30, he will devote his full time to the practice of law. "While juvenile delinquency has greatly increased in many parts of the state and on a national basis during the past several years," Mr. Morris said, "there has been no increase in juvenile delinquency in the district I have served for eight years. I appreciate the cooperation coop-eration I have received from parents, schools, church groups and others, and the young people themselves, in bringing about this good result." |
