Saturday Donald took an examination for entrance en-trance to the University of Utah and will attend school there this fall. Also accompanying accompa-nying them was Mrs. Maude Veazey, who visited her children, chil-dren, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Thompson and son. By MRS. CLAIR GILLJNS t) Recent visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Theman Walker Walk-er were Mr. and Mrs. Dick Thompson and daughter Jean of Provo and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Holbrook of California. They also came to see their mother, Mrs. Josephine Thompson, Thomp-son, while she is ill. Shopping last Friday at Cedar Ce-dar City were Katie Willing-ham, Willing-ham, Maude Veazey, Marjorie Sherwood and Betty Naruse. O Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Wright of Magna spent several days here this past week visiting Jimmy's father, Floyd Wright, who is seriously ill in the Beaver County Hospital, and his mother, Mrs. Nora Wright; also the parents of Mrs. Jimmy Wright, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Cook. 9 Mrs. Bernice Smith, daughters daugh-ters Georgia Beth and Jennie Sue, and son Leon of Salt Lake and -Logan, spent the week end here with George, Marsha and Theo Smith. They also spent a day at Glen Canyon. Can-yon. Mrs. Melba Marshall and daughter Connie visited a few days at Murray with Melba's mother, Mrs. Halley, who has been ill. Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Sher-. wood and family of Salt Lake spent ie week end with Mr. and Mrs. Jim Sherwood and daughters and Mr. and Mrs. Dan Ferguson. O Mr. and Mrs. Jay Rogers and children of Roy spent the Easter holidays visiting here with Mrs. Rogers' father, Martin Sherwood, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Sherwood, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Wright and Mr. and Mrs. Lorraine Gillins. Mr. and Mrs. Don Alger Jr. and children, who have been living in Washington, spent last week here with Mr. and Mrs. Don Alger Sr. The younger Algers have been transferred to ' Tennessee. Don Jr. is in the Navy. Mrs. Effie Marshall of Min-ersville Min-ersville and Mrs. Ruth Knight of Cedar City called on Mrs. Aldean Jones and family last Friday. 0 An Easter picnic in the Min- |
